Getting the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Back in October 2018, I’d come across an article in the ET about launch of a co-branded Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card. The article also mentioned that this card would be offered on an invite-only basis, starting with existing customers of the bank (I already have an ICICI Bank credit card). Some of the features and benefits of the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card are:

– Lifetime Free (no joining or annual fee)
– No surcharge on fuel purchases
– Unlimited Reward Points
– 5% Reward Points on Amazon.in (for Prime members)
– 2% Reward Points on Amazon.in flight bookings, recharges and bill payments
– 1% Reward Points on all other shopping and payments
– Rs.750 cashback on application and approval (for Prime members), added to Amazon Pay balance

K, Aundh – a must visit for Korean cuisine in Pune

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Fresh into the new year, and lunch plans were made for a visit to the famed Smiley House in Aundh. Unfortunately, that was closed, so we decided to try “K” – one of the few restaurants serving Korean cuisine in Pune, and oh wow, it was totally worth it. Previously, I’d only tried Korean cuisine at Cafe Maroo in Pune and Soo Ra Sang in Bangalore.

Finding the place took longer than expected, partly due to the name – “K”, as well as the exact location on Google Maps, and it’s very easy to miss while driving. We parked close by and walked around before finally spotting this blink-and-you-miss-it place. It is near Medipoint Hospital, and there are several other eateries along the same stretch of road, like L’Apicio, Andaground and more.

Review: Half Pants Full Pants – an enjoyable read

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Some weeks ago, there was a package delivered from Hector Beverages. Too small to be another flavour of their Paper Boat drinks and bigger than the Paper Boat Chikki, and it turned out to be a book – “Half Pants Full Pants” – by Anand “Suspi” Subbarao.

Unfortunately, after the initial glance-through, the book just lay in the cupboard for a while (my love for reading has been in hibernate mode for a while now), before I finally decided to check it out – and wow, what an enjoyable read it is!
