Applying for a Learner’s Licence online

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Applying for a learner’s licence online? Yes, this is a fact. All those who were dreading the prospect of going to the RTO and being hounded by agents/touts can now breathe easy as you can apply for it online now.

That’s right – not only are you spared the agony of visiting the RTO, but also that of making extra payment, all thanks to the Maharashtra RTO, which now allows application for getting a learner’s licence online.

It is somewhat similar to the process for getting a passport, meaning you need to fill in the form from the above link. The system will generate a date for appointment, and you need to visit the RTO with the form and documents along with the printed form and your photographs, which will be followed by a test.

Make sure you read the instructions clearly, and happy driving 🙂
