A nice brunch at Level 5 Bistro and Bar

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Kothrud area in Pune is happening and buzzing, and how :p

Usually the opening of a Starbucks outlet indicates the hipster quotient of a place and though this happened 2-3 years ago, the eateries were mostly the same. Barometer was a good “barometer” of changes to come. Pretty soon a whole bunch of other new restaurants opened up, serving craft beer as well as pork dishes – something completely unheard of in this part of Pune.

When a weekend plan for Level 5 Bistro and Bar was made last week, I wasn’t surprised, although I think was the only one who hadn’t been there previously. Given the non-stop rain hammering the city even in October, we agreed brunch was a better option than meeting up in the evening.

The American Express Membership Rewards Credit Card

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Already have a charge card and a credit card from American Express, so was somewhat surprised to get an email from them the other day about lifetime complimentary membership to the American Express Membership Rewards Credit Card.

Turns out this would be linked to my existing American Express Platinum Travel Credit Card. I recall they had launched this card with much fanfare around 2017 and back then, they were offering this card as a companion card to the Gold Charge Card.

Get your free credit score and credit report from OneScore App

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Get free credit score and credit report each month? And without any ads or follow-up spam calls later for credit cards or loans? May seem surprising, given the plethora of such apps or websites around, but OneScore has stuck to that promise.

The company is founded by Anurag Sinha, Rupesh Kumar and Vibhav Hathi – all ex-ICICI Bank(ers). Anurag is also a former colleague from Walnut, where he was instrumental in setting up Walnut Prime (Line of Credit for Walnut app users). He’d mentioned his new company and app name when we’d met some months ago, and some of us had checked out the OneScore app at the time.
