Holy shit !! Ferrari bossman Luca di Montezemolo has announced that for the first time ever, an Indian brand will appear on a Ferrari F1 car. No prizes for guessing, yup, it’s the Tata group, who will join a host of big names like Shell, Acer, AMD, Mubadala and others as the main backers of the Ferrari F1 team in 2009.

The Tata Group has earlier sponsored Narain Karthikeyan at Jordan 2-3 years ago, and then the Williams F1 cars driven by Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg. TCS has also been providing support to Ferrari in terms of technological solutions relating to design and manufacture of their F1 and other sports cars.
