Tata Group subject to racism

It has been quite disturbing to read recent reports regarding the responses from Orient Express Hotels and Ford to overtures from the Tata group. Both these groups responded in a peculiar manner, choosing to highlight India and Indians in a “downmarket” kind of manner, rather than focussing on the merits of the Tata group.

Kayanis in D-I-Y mode as workers continue strike

The Kayani Bakery at Pune, renowned for it’s cakes and Shrewsbury biscuits, has been in the news lately due to the unrest caused by their workers. Things reached a head, when one of the partners, Rustom Kayani was assaulted and the union leader was called for questioning by the cops.
