Special fares for all SBI card holders on Air Deccan
Air Deccan has announced special fares for all credit card holders of State Bank of India, called ”SBI card Flat Fare”. This would be a fixed basic fare of Rs.499. Of course, the tax / surcharge component would be borne by the passengers. (which anyway is generally more than twice the base cost !!)
To avail of this offer, you need to call the Air Deccan number - 3900 8888, and these fares are valid for travel from 15th January to 31st March ’08. (Bookings close on 15th March, however). As is also to be expected, the offer cannot be combined with any other scheme, and tickets are available on a first come first serve basis.
As far as service levels are concerned though, both have a pretty LONG way to go, and I’ve heard numerous horror stories about quality issues with both Deccan and SBI. Let’s see how a joint promo of both these entities works out.
