Due to a technical glitch in the petrol Fabia, Skoda is recalling all variants (the 1.2 & 1.4 litre) to rectify the problem, which is affecting fuel efficiency.Skoda laid the blame squarely on the inconsistent fuel quality being supplied in India. Other than problems with the brake pedal, customers had complained about performance and mileage issues.

The company said they would rectify this problem free of cost, and that customers would need to spend only 20-30 minutes at the dealership. Although a ‘recall’ in Indian markets used to have a negative feeling attached to it, there has been a change in the mindset of Indian consumers, who are more than willing to cooperate with companies in order to ensure that the product lives upto it’s reputation.

If you have not yet got the problem rectified, you can contact the nearest Fabia dealer and do so.
