Shillong guitar fiesta aims to enter Guinness Book

The Shillong Autumn Festival commencing from October 26th promises to be a rocking one, as over 2000 guitarists will gather together for a place in the history books, or to be more precise, the Guinness Book of World Records, for the largest guitar ensemble.
The earlier record was set by 1721 guitarists from the US (Kansas City) in June, when they performed the Deep Purple classic, “Smoke on the Water”.
The group at the Shillong Festival will perform the Bob Dylan number, “Knocking on Heavens Door”.
