Revolver in Nusli Wadia’s baggage

Read a report which spoke of a revolver and some bullets being found in Nusli Wadia’s baggage at Dubai Airport.
This seemed amazing, especially at a time when all airports across the country have been put on high alert. Even more amazing was the fact that the chaps at the Bombay Intnl Airport let him through, and the gun was recovered only when he was being screened upon arrival at Dubai.
The best part was, the incident ended with Wadia being given a receipt after he showed his arms license (and probably pulled a few top level strings !!). Any other traveller found with a gun, especially at Dubai, would have been given the “treatment”.
I guess the Bombay security guys, as usual, would’ve been too “status concious” to carry out a thorough check, and this speaks volumes of the security measures in place.
