It was finally business as usual at the Pune Airport as fifteen days after it was closed down to allow urgent repair work to be carried out, it was re-opened to commercial flights.

Believe it or not, the Air India folks also presented all passengers with a rose !! Guess with all flight related problems they’ve been facing of late, this was the least they could do.

However, the restriction on the operational hours will continue and the airport will remain open from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm.

Well, can’t win ‘em all I guess !! Atleast something’s better than nothing… :p
