Problems logging in to Hotmail
Have been facing problems trying to log in to my Hotmail account the past couple of days. Initially, a refresh would do the trick, but since yesterday, that fails to work. I remember this happened sometime last year also, but on that occasion, surprisingly enough, I could download mails into Outlook and not through the browser interface. This time, however, even that didn’t work. While not such a huge issue for me since I moved to Gmail, it did matter this time as I was expecting some mails where I’d used this email id to register.
Microsoft, as usual, had a pretty cryptic comment to make on this issue;
“The issue is purely impacting the login process for customers and largely does not impact customers who were already logged in. We have made significant progress in decreasing the number of customers currently affected since initial reports, but the issue has not yet been completely resolved.”
