Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer

Happened to read that 55 year old Patrick Swayze, best known for his movies, Dirty Dancing, and Ghost, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Swayze is married to Lisa Niemi, an actress, and they have a daughter.
There were reports that he did not have much time to live, as pancreatic cancer sometimes gets diagnosed only in the advanced stages, and people usually die within .
However, his doctor George Fisher rubbished all such reports.
Swayze also has a Bollywood connection, starring with Om Puri and Shabana Azmi in the 1992 film, City of Joy.
