Panasonic shows off 150 inch TV
The Consumer Electronics Show at Las Vegas was the venue for Panasonic to display what is arguably the world’s largest TV at 150 inches.
The plasma panel features an 8.84 million-pixel image resolution, and the screen is the equivalent of nine 50-inch sets with an effective viewing area of 11 feet.
They also showed a demo of a ”Life Wall”, which would have multiple screens on the walls in the house, allowing a person to use stuff like YouTube and Google Earth in an interactive manner. They also have a tie up with YouTube to put a menu in future Panasonic sets.
No word on the probable cost of the giant TV, though…
