State Bank of India and MasterCard Worldwide have launched MoneySend, a money transfer program that will offer instant online authorization and transfer confirmation, allowing persons having MasterCard or Maestro cards to transfer money quickly, easily and securely to family members or friends.

SBI is the first bank in the Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa region to launch MoneySend.
