Mild earthquake hits Western Maharashtra

Was having a blissful sleep when around 3.30 am, there was a mild tremor, lasting a few seconds.
Got up and checked the net for news on this and sure enough, it was an earthquake, measuring around 4.8 on the Richter Scale. According to officials in the Met Department, the epicentre was located at latitude of 17.9 degrees North and longitude of 73.9 degrees East, hitting the Satara region first around 3.17 am.
Luckily, there have been no reports of any casualties or damage to property yet.
