Microsoft has sacked their CIO of two years, Stuart Scott for “violation of company policies.”

Further, there is no word from the folks at Redmond about exactly what policies Scott has violated. He joined Microsoft in 2005 after 17 years at GE, and was recognized as one of the top 100 CIOs in 2003 by CIO Magazine.

His bio page on the Microsoft site is even funnier… almost like an epitaph !
