LinkedIn gets $22 million funding, announces LinkedIn Applications
Professional networking site LinkedIn has received funding worth $22.7 million, which is a follow on to their Series D funding in June ‘08. The present set of investors comprise Goldman Sachs, McGraw Hill, SAP Ventures, as well as a re-investment by Bessemer Venture Partners.
In another announcement, they also took the wraps off LinkedIn Applications, which, as per the blurb on their blog, seeks to allow 30 million professionals to communicate, collaborate and share information on this platform.
