Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen must have been keeping his fingers crossed, as the stewards cleared BMW Sauber and Williams of fuel irregularities during the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg, Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld finished fourth, fifth and sixth respectively, but there was a cloud over the fuel that was used by their cars during the race.

Had the decision been upheld, Lewis Hamilton would have leapfrogged three places to fourth, thereby winning the title. McLaren however, seemed to be in a mood to appeal this verdict. Let’s see how things move from here on..
