Malaysia Grand Prix circuit, SepangThe beer flowed freely as Kimi Raikkonen turned in a clinical performance to wrap up the Malaysian Grand Prix and put Ferrari back in the hunt after a catastrophic Australian Grand Prix.

For a sec though, the beer seemed pre-emptive, as Felipe Massa, who was all set to make it a Ferrari 1-2, suddenly veered off the track to land in the kitty litter. It wasn’t clear if he lost concentration or if the car had a problem. Kubica came in 2nd and Kovalainen, 3rd. Hamilton came in 5th, chasing Jarno Trulli till the very end.

Earlier, after the qualifying session on Saturday, both McLarens were penalized for obstructing other drivers during their qualifying laps, as a result of which both Kovalainen and Hamilton dropped back 5 places each on the starting grid to 8th and 9th place respectively.

On to Bahrain, then, and you may still have a chance to book yourself the special Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Package.
