In case you were wondering just who is the ‘Jaggu’ in the post title, well, it is none other than former ICC Chief and Indian cricket’s one time supremo, Jagmohan Dalmiya.

Under a cloud for most of last year, what with allegations of misappropriation of funds as well as a jail term staring him, he has suddeny grabbed the limelight again, re-entering the CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal). In the recently conculded elections, he and his men registered a crushing 24-vote victory over incumbent Prasun Mukherjee, garnering 71 votes to the latter’s 47.

The CAB has been in a big mess following the IPL fiasco, when there were problems before it started, problems with floodlights, and even the pitch.

However, if anyone hoped for better things with Jaggu and his cronies back in the saddle, chances are the CAB is going to land in even deeper shit !!
