Online is ok for a stock portfolio. Switching should not be a problem - there will be a way to export your transactions from Intuit to a .csv file, which you can open in Excel / import to another money mgmt software. Syncing transactions with my accounts works about 1 out of 3 times.  Their customer service is terrible. There is no customer service number to call - just write email and hope somone replies in a few days. Any follow up you need will take further installments of a few days each. I need to switch but I am afraid all the work put into categorizing transactions etc. will now be lost :-( I started using Money Manager service a few months ago. I like MS Money too, pity they have discontinued it now, though the software by itself is still usable. My experience using Yodlee in the US has been excellent, the aggregation for Indian banks is also working quite well. Until I see some functionality like the one MS Money provides, I don't think I am going to pay for a service. And given the rate at which so called security measures are getting introduced, I don't think this is going to happen any time soon. arthamoney is actually powered by Yodlee.
