It was thrilling to watch India finally win a match after looking to be heading for a loss. All credit to Tendulkar and Ganguly for laying the foundation, and to Robin Uthappa for seeing us through in a level headed manner.

Both Tendulkar and Ganguly are no spring chickens any longer, but it is amazing to see how the team still depends on them for a big start to the innings, which of course, they duly provided.

Tendulkar has been singularly unlucky to miss out on a number of centuries on this tour, both in the Test matches as well as the one day series, and it would be fitting if he could end the series with a century at Lords, most likely his last match in England.
