Here’s a treat for all F1 fans. Gulf Air has planned special packages in order to allow fans from India to visit Bahrain, watch the Bahrain Grand Prix, and return the same day !! Yup, you heard right… return the same day !

This year, the government is expected to support the event so getting a visa should be quicker as long as fans have the flight tickets as well as the race tickets. An all-inclusive package with 4-star accommodation for four nights, ticket to the race etc. could cost as less as $500 (Rs.20,000)per person.

However, Gulf Air has launched special packages that allow a traveller to leave for Bahrain in the morning, reach in time for the warm up races and the finals and still have enough time left to catch the return flight back home. All this for about $300 (Rs.12,000) per person which includes airfare and tickets to the races. People can board these flights from Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi.
