Ferrari shut out their nightmarish start to the F1 season at Australiawith a clinical performance today, grabbing the front row in the qualifying session at the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Massa was faster than Raikkonen and clinched the pole position, with Kovalainen and Hamilton on the second row. For a while though, it seemed as if Roberto Kubica had the measure of Hamilton, before falling to 6th, behind Jarno Trulli.

The beer has been stocked and tomorrow promises to be a real humdinger of a race !
