It has been a long and agonizing wait for the 7000 students who were scheduled to appear for the CFA exams on 03rd June, but in an eagerly awaited verdict, the Delhi High Court finally gave the go-ahead for all three levels of CFA examinations to be conducted in India on 03rd June.
The high court, however, put a rider on it’s verdict, saying all other aspects of the case relating to the notice by AICTE will continue to hold good. It said the exams had been allowed to be held in order to prevent tremendous inconvenience to students who had been studying hard these past few months and had also paid fees for the same.
In fact, keeping in mind the offer made by the CFA Institute, many students had even booked tickets in order to appear for the exams outside India.
However, after winning the battle, the CFA Institute still has a war to fight, and will have to approach the courts to argue the AICTE notice.
