It was simply superb to see the Indian cricket team beat Australia today.
Not only was this fantastic because it happened at Perth, where the Aussies have always dominated visiting teams, but also because we wrapped up the match in four days !! Can’t recall when we last did this.

Shaun Pollock, one of the world’s best all-rounders and certainly South Africa’s best, finally hung up his cricketing boots as South Africa beat the West Indies in the recently concluded Test series.

Happened to read that Steve Bucknor, one of the architects of India’s defeat to Australia in the Sydney Test, is disappointed that he was chucked out of the series for giving “only” 2 wrong decisions out of some 35 appeals made in that Test match.
