The design guys at Research In Motion (RIM) have come out with a new handset, the Blackberry Pearl 8100.
The phone itself is slim, shaped like a candy bar, quite unlike a typical Blackberry phone, and has a 1.3 MP camera, audio and video playback in several formats, Blackberry Maps and expandable memory.
Here are some of the enterprise features on offer;

- Wireless push delivery of email and data
- Secure access to Internet- and intranet-based applications
- Single mailbox integration
- Attachment viewing of popular file formats
- Wireless email reconciliation
- Wireless calendar synchronization
- Remote address book look-up
In India, this phone, which is likely to be priced in the Rs.24-25K range, will be launched in association with Bharti Airtel.
