Bird-hit on the road ?

We’ve often heard of planes being “bird-hit” in mid-air, primarily due to the tons of garbage lying in the vicinity of our airports. However, while coming in to work today, I had a nasty experience, thanks to the garbage lying on the road.

There was a particularly big heap of garbage, both solid and liquid waste, and it made the road quite slippery, so I slowed down to avoid skidding.

Suddenly, a bunch of crows flew towards the garbage, with three of them almost making contact with my helmet, causing me to violently swerve to avoid being hit. It was quite sudden, and I just managed to escape falling and getting a “closer” look at the garbage pile 🙂

Bad roads, bad traffic and now the overflowing garbage.. wonder what’s next?
