Apple’s iPhone, the must-have gizmo on people’s minds, will be finally available to Indian users from August 22, jointly from Vodafone and Bharti Airtel.

As of now, there was no word from either operator about pricing plans, but I guess it will be in the range of Rs.30-40K. Will be great if it is cheaper, though.

The problem with the high price is due to the fact that Airtel and Vodafone may not subsidise the cost of the phone, as is the case in the US, where it is available for $199.

You can pre-register your phone to ensure you are among the first buyers.
